OMG! One Seemingly Straight ‘90210’ Hottie Is Gay! But Who? Jul 14, 2010

width=You’re never going to believe this BFFs, but one of 90210’s main men is actually gay! Yup, that’s right – the guys are following in Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Gia’s (Rumer Willis) lesbian footsteps: EW has confirmed that one of the show’s hotties – reformed bad boy Liam, smart and studious Navid or rich boy Teddy – is coming out of the CW closet next season.

But who will it be? Let’s weigh in, shall we?

Teddy Montgomery

Teddy (Trevor Donovan)was a SERIOUS playboy ladies man until he met Silver (Jessica Stroup) and started getting all sappy and romantic. He’s your All-American boy-next-door: plays tennis, gets good grades, surfs like a champ and has perfectly coiffed hair while doing all three. But don’t forget – Teddy has serious daddy issues, and does whatever his rich and famous actor father tells him to. Oh yeah, and he was kicked out of his last swanky school for “bad behavior.” Like doing it in public with another guy, perhaps? How long can he stand living a lie? This golden boy is going to crack, mark our words.

Liam Court

Liam (Matt Lanter) is a reformed bad boy who became obsessed with winning Naomi’s (AnnaLynne McCord) affections after she mistakenly thought he slept with Annie (Shenae Grimes). After realizing Naomi was a liar he cut all ties and went back to brooding all Edward-style and working on his boat. Liam is THE quintessential male. He’s into drag racing, not drag queens.

Navid Shirazi

So here’s why Navid (Michael Sterger) can’t possibly be gay – he’s the obvious choice. This up-and-coming journalist is way too melodramatic, overly romantic and likes to talk about his feelings more than any girls we know. That said, Navid is just your every day, commonplace, sensitive, poetic kind of dude. There would be no shock factor if he were 90210’s new gay character – and isn’t a primetime soap all about expecting the unexpected?

We’d love to hear what you have to say- weight in with a comment!

Wilds explains ’90210′ finale changes Jul 05, 2010

Tristan Wilds has defended the changes to the season finale of 90210.

Reports before the episode aired had suggested that the hit-and-run storyline would be resolved with a real killer coming out of “left field”.

However, the twist was eventually changed and Annie (Shenae Grimes) confessed to the incident.

Wilds, who plays Dixon, has now told E! Online that the alterations will have a positive impact on the third season.

“I hope that nobody was upset,” he said. “I just think it left some more for the next season so you guys can tune in and watch… Some of you guys were upset, but you’ll get to see what happens next season. You know, we gotta keep the fans thirsty.”

Wilds also promised that the departure of Rob Estes, who played Harry, will have repercussions next season.

“You’ll see another part of American culture,” he said. “It’s the plight of the single mom [Debbie]. You get to see what she goes through and how she copes with dealing with two kids and still trying to find a job and keep a house et cetera, et cetera. It’ll be a very different dynamic, but it’s still very, very true to life.”

He added: “It’s gonna be a good senior year.”

90210 will return for its third season on The CW later this year.

90210 Sneak Peek: “Rats & Heroes” Mar 05, 2010

After months off the air, and with controversy swirling over its emphasis on a new lesbian relationship, 90210 comes back on Tuesday, March 9.

Titled “Rats & Heroes,” the episode will deal with everyone’s return to school after winter vacation.

As the following clip depicts, this is a return Annie is dreading. For what reason? In a word: Jasper. Watch Dixon try (and fail) to comfort his sister below:

90210 Season Finale: All About Naomi Mar 02, 2010

90210 first returns from an extended hiatus on March 9.

But it’s never too early to hype the season finale of this CW hit, is it?

Speaking to E! News, AnnaLynne McCord had both good news and bad news for fans of her character. The good? The final episode of season two will be all about Naomi.

Beach Bound

In anticipation of the show’s return, catch up on the latest 90210 music, quotes and more at TV Fanatic!

The bad? Well, take it away, AnnaLynne…

“The finale is always brutal for Naomi. It’s always the worst thing in the world. She has it horrible! The last thing of the finale is Naomi’s face, and it’s really bad. What happens to her is awful.

“So I kinda feel like there will be some downward spiral in a way for Naomi’s character, but she’s good at covering, so she’ll still have that façade. But you’re really gonna feel bad for her at the end of this episode.”

How ominous… and intriguing! Any guesses on what McCord could be referring to?

Diego Boneta Joins Cast of 90210 Jan 27, 2010

Finally, 90210 casting news that involves someone coming to the show.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve learned that Jennie Garth and Rob Estes would not be returning for season three. But Diego Boneta is going in the opposite direction:

The pop singer is coming aboard for a recurring role as Javier, a young musician that appears in multiple episodes this May. Look for the character to have a fling with Adrianna… who joins an all-girl band!

How Should Harry Wilson Exit 90210? Jan 21, 2010

Both The CW and Rob Estes himself have confirmed that the actor is leaving 90210 after the conclusion of season two.

This comes as a shock to fans, as Harry never settled into an ongoing, interesting storyline, but still played a vital role on the show as principal of West Beverly and father to Annie and Dixon.

Because it doesn’t sound as though 90210 will replace Estes with a new actor, the question lingers: how will he be written out?

Jennie Garth: Done with 90210 Jan 18, 2010

At last night’s Golden Globe Awards, Jennie Garth walked the red carpet.

When asked about her status on 90210, the actress said she was done filming scenes as Kelly Taylor. She’s taking time away from acting to focus on writing a children’s book and starting an unspecific project with husband Peter Facinelli.

Kelly hasn’t been involved in a storyline in some time. Debbie has taken exception to Harry’s relationship with his co-worker over the last few weeks, but Garth made it clear awhile ago that she wouldn’t let her character be involved in an affair.

It’s unclear if 90210 viewers will ever see Kelly again.

The show doesn’t return until March 9, and Garth may have meant she was simply done filming new scenes, yet will still appear in some that have already been shot. Guess we’ll need to tune in and find out.

Will you miss Kelly on the show?
